Over a year after Vicki confirmed she would not be appearing on any further episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Briana said Vicki “misses” the process of filming before explaining the awkward encounters she often has at work due to her time on the show.
“I think she’s still adjusting,” Briana admitted of her mom on the May 9 episode. “I don’t think it’s what she really wants for her life. She misses the whole process and everybody.”
According to Briana, there are “good and bad” things about Vicki’s exit from RHOC.
“It’s good to have more time with my mom but I feel like she’s missing a piece of her,” she explained.
Looking back at Vicki’s 14 seasons, Briana said the castmate who did her mom the “dirtiest” was Meghan King Edmonds, who accused her of teaming up with Brooks Ayers to promote his fake cancer diagnosis during season 10.
“I would have to say Meghan kind of came for my mom for a little while and that was kind of hard to watch,” Briana said. “The whole Brooks thing was hard to be involved with and hard to watch and I kind of wish [Vicki] would have just taken a step back from him and realized how horrible he was.”
During the WWHL: After Show, Briana offered an update on her own post-Housewives life. She confirmed she moved to Illinois earlier this month with her husband, Ryan Culberson, and their three children, Troy, Owen, and Hank.
“Just moved to Illinois last week. I’ve been an ER nurse for 13 years now and I have three kids. [Ryan]’s good. He’s retired from the Marines,” she shared.
Briana was then asked about her mother’s proudest and cringiest moments on RHOC.
“Probably when she finally got away from Brooks. That was the best moment of all of our lives,” she said of her favorite on-screen moment.
“The lollipop in the limo… the wiener,” she added of her cringiest.
Also during the show, Briana said that when it comes to her past on reality television, she’s often reminded of her former fame at work.
“Sometimes it’s hard as a nighttime ER nurse for people to come to the ER at 2:30 in the morning and see me as their nurse and some people are a little shocked and I have to remind them, ‘This is my real job and that’s just something my family did,’” she admitted.
