Bridget Jones’s Diary cast: Then and now | Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant and more

It has been 20 years since box office-hit Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001) premiered, introducing the ‘engagingly imperfect’ 32-year-old Bridget Jones and her tragic love life to the world.

In the two decades since the cult classic hit the big screen, fans have been indulged with two more films inspired by the original 1996 eponymous novel (and its foremother, Jane Austen’s 1813 novel, Pride & Prejudice) — Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason was released in 2004, and Bridget Jones’s Baby followed 12 years later in 2016, except this time, sans heart-throb Hugh Grant.

While you may have re-watched the trilogy more than a few times, if you’re looking for a taste of Bridget Jones without the ‘spinster’ herself, the cast has many projects of their own available for viewing.

Here is what the cast of Bridget Jones’s Diary has been up to since its premiere 20 years ago.

(Hint: none of their jobs have been “wiping Saddam Hussein’s a–.”)
