Days before Khloé Kardashian was due to give birth to boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s baby in 2018, the NBA star was caught cheating on camera.
The couple worked through the incident for the sake of daughter True, now three. But just one year later, cheating rumours once again surrounded Thompson.
In early 2019, it was alleged the basketball player hooked up with model Jordyn Woods at a house party in LA.
Kardashian soon ended her three-year relationship with Thompson, and Woods — who was her sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend — was blacklisted by the famous family. The model maintains that nothing happened between the pair, but the damage was done.
However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit last year, Kardashian and Thompson decided to move in together to co-parent True. The exes further reconnected when the reality star contracted coronavirus and Thompson was the one who cared for her.
“I’m so thankful that Tristan’s been here to help me take care of True, and then he’ll make me some food and leave it outside my door,” she said during one episode of the family’s reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “Even though we’re not together, we’re just really good friends, and I’m really, really grateful for that.”
In subsequent episodes of the show, it became clear the pair were giving their relationship another go.
“For the past year, I have seen so much growth and so much change in Tristan, which I’m so grateful for,” she said on camera. “Right now, I’m giving the best that I can give and I’m trying. I feel like we’re in a good place and there is progression and there is some forward momentum.”
