A supervisor at a Los Angeles, California Costco named Jason elegantly withstood the wrath of Ricky Schroder, as seen in a video that the 51-year-old performer posted to Facebook. The issue, other than Schroder’s sad craving for negative attention, was the fact that the bulk goods store, like many stores, still asks its shoppers to show a little common courtesy and wear masks inside. This proved too much of an ask for the star of Silver Spoons, who began saying things like “they destroyed our state!”
Schroder then implored his followers to get a refund from Costco, presumedly for their annual membership fee. An unflappable manager named Kristen provided him with one without complaint.
“Costco always goes above and beyond following the law,” the supervisor with nerves of steel said to Schroder’s intrusive camera. “The mandate in California has not changed,” he patiently explained. When he added that the store’s policy may change in mid-June, Schroder began interrupting with talk of “our Kings that destroyed our economy.” Jason did not raise his voice, as he no doubt has to deal with this from plenty of people day-to-day, even those who did not star in the 1980 adaptation of Little Lord Fauntleroy.
