Marvel Studios has released the first teaser trailer and poster for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” which confirms they’re sticking to a September 3rd theatrical release.
Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, Ronny Chieng, and Michelle Yeoh star in this adaptation of the Marvel Comics title.
In the film, Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The trailer shows off a first look at Leung as the ‘real’ version of The Mandarin along with going into the lead character’s back story and some of the other supporting villains to pop up.
Destin Daniel Cretton helmed the movie which was shot in Sydney, Australia last year. Some more first look images are up at EW.
